ASR Reporting & Dictation

Turn your findings into
a structured report.

Dictate your findings and let ASR (automatic speech recognition) help organize them into a template-matched draft. Review, edit and finalize the report with available exam details and reporting tools connected to the read.

Hear it

One sentence in.A structured report out.

This is CIVIE’s own recording of a radiologist dictating one finding into ASR. Press play: the screen follows the sound, from the words landing to the drafted impression.

Recorded in CIVIE on a demonstration study, with identifiers blurred. The radiologist reviews and signs every report. Screen recreated from the recording; the patient is fictional.

Two ways to report

Template based or AI augmented.Choose per report.

ASR supports template-based reporting and an assisted draft workflow in the same environment. Start with an exam-matched template, select another when needed, and edit the report as you work through the study.

Template basedAI augmented

Template basedFamiliar report preparation: the exam-matched template opens with the indication, exam and comparison already populated beside the images. The findings and impression are yours to dictate.

AI augmentedStructure first, then your review: dictated findings become a draft that follows the template, your words stay highlighted, and an impression is drafted for you to accept, edit or dictate over.

Templates

Templates that workthe way your team reads.

Build and edit report templates with the headers, variables, macros and pick lists your practice uses. Match them to locations, procedure descriptions and modalities, so each report starts in the right structure.

Review and sign

Checked beforeit’s signed.

Review and edit the complete report before finalizing it. Assistance supports preparation and review; the judgment is yours.

Report deficiency checks flag what’s missing before you sign: here an empty impression and an undocumented prior CT count. Sign waits until they’re dealt with.

After you sign

Signed once.Used everywhere.

ASR shares one record with the order, the images and the claim, so the signed report doesn’t stop at the referrer’s inbox: the follow-up, the coding and the next study start from it.

Watch it work

From dictationto a flagged report.

A real run of CIVIE’s reporting AI on sample CT findings. It places the dictation into the template, drafts the impression and checks it, then flags the critical result.

The radiologist's findings

CT ABDOMEN PELVIS W IV CONTRASTRight lower quadrant pain, low-grade fever. Rule out abscess or diverticulitis.

  • The appendix is dilated to 13 mm with wall thickening and surrounding fat stranding. There is an appendicolith at the appendiceal base.
  • Adjacent to the appendiceal tip there is a 3.4 x 2.8 cm rim-enhancing fluid collection with a few locules of extraluminal gas.
  • Small amount of free fluid in the pelvis.
  • The liver, spleen, pancreas and adrenal glands are unremarkable. The gallbladder is normal.
  • Kidneys enhance symmetrically without hydronephrosis. 1.2 cm simple cyst in the left kidney.
  • No bowel obstruction. Scattered sigmoid diverticula without inflammation.
  • No pathologic lymphadenopathy. Lung bases are clear. No acute osseous abnormality.

FAQ

Reporting questions,
answered.

  • Yes. ASR is full radiology speech recognition with templates, macros, voice commands and productivity analytics, in a self-editing or transcription workflow. It isn't an add-on that runs over another dictation product.
