CIVIE achieves HITRUST e1 certification across its radiology platform
CIVIE’s platform has earned HITRUST e1 certified status for cybersecurity and information protection.
What the certification covers
The certification spans the CIVIE ecosystem:
- Radiology Information System (RIS)
- Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)
- AI-powered radiology dictation
- Revenue cycle management
- Vendor neutral archive
How it was assessed
HITRUST e1 certification is built on the HITRUST Assurance Program, with independent third-party testing and centralized quality assurance, and is supported by HITRUST’s Cyber Threat-Adaptive engine. The approach keeps the platform aligned with controls from frameworks including NIST, ISO and OWASP.
Why it matters
For practices and health systems, every system that touches protected health information is part of their own risk picture.
