Riverside Healthcare modernizes radiology across Illinois with RadPod and RadFlow

Riverside Healthcare, a health system based in Kankakee, Illinois, has partnered with CIVIE to modernize radiology operations across six locations in five counties.
What Riverside deployed
- RadPod, CIVIE’s teleradiology platform, which gives Riverside’s patients and providers access to tenured radiologists and AI tools.
- RadFlow, CIVIE’s unified PACS, with real-time data and analytics for operational decisions.
Both run on CIVIE AI, the company’s agentic AI model. In RadFlow, CIVIE AI adds smart image tagging and context-aware image retrieval, so radiologists get to the right images and priors faster.
Early results
According to the announcement, Riverside providers have seen shorter imaging turnaround times and higher reporting standards since go-live. CIVIE reports that early RadPod users saw turnaround fall “from 24 hours to just 8 minutes.”
“The addition of RadPod has significantly improved the quality of the radiologist interpretations,” said Benjamin McLain, Vice President of Operations at Riverside Healthcare. “Through RadFlow, we now have the analytics that we need to make real-time decisions.”
“The results CIVIE’s solutions have been able to provide to Riverside Healthcare have been transformative,” said Dhruv Chopra, CEO of CIVIE.
